Up-Coming Drum Circles & Sound Meditations across Melbourne

Positive Music community drum circles are fun and innovative hands-on rhythm events where people create a musical song together, while being guided by a professional drum circle facilitator.

Are you looking for a fun and creative activity, that’s de-stressing, energising and uplifting? Have you always wanted to play the drums?

Positive Music brings an array of fun colourful hand drums, small percussion instruments and stick drums. All levels welcome, from beginner beginners to advance players.

You don’t have to be a musician to make music! Drums and percussion instruments provided free of charge or feel free to bring your own.

What is a facilitated Community Drum Circle?

Positive Music facilitated drum circle is unique, empowering and fun. We incorporate hand drums and percussion instruments from around the world.

Positive Music certified VMC and Remo Drum Circle Facilitator Peta Minter guides, directs and conducts the group to listen, connect and communicate to make music and become a percussion orchestra. The rhythms and music that people play in the circle are purely improvised, where they create a musical song together. At times people can get up and dance in the middle of the circle!
